While I was in Lewiston visiting my folks last week Audra picked up a couple pumpkins for the girls. Tonight we had them first draw their design on a piece of paper and then, once they were satisfied, we marked up the front of the pumpkin. Pumpkin carving has gotten a whole lot easier once we figured out we could use a drywall saw to do the carving instead of a butcher knife. The butcher knife technique always made me feel like I was just a couple milliseconds from losing a finger, or five. The drywall saw goes through the pumpkin like a hot knife through butter!
